The New York City Parent Survey is designed to understand the child care needs and preferences of NYC parents.
The short survey will help policymakers understand what NYC parents want the city’s universal child care program to look like.
We selected your household by random chance among adults in your local area using the United States Postal Service Computerized Delivery Sequence File. Your views will represent thousands of people similar to you.
Any parent or primary caregiver (e.g. legal guardian) in your household can participate. Only one person per household can participate.
NORC at the University of Chicago is conducting this study for the New Practice Lab and the Robin Hood Foundation. The summarized survey results will be shared with the City of New York but will not include your personal identifying information (name, address, email).

All questions are voluntary, however your name and email are required if you choose to receive the digital payment of $10. The survey does not ask about immigration status.
